Starre Kennzeichnung/logische Form: Hier ist das wahr in w gdw. das Ding, das in der aktualen Welt F ist, in w G ist, egal ob es dort in w F ist oder nicht. Aktuale Welt: welche Welt die aktuale ist, ist wieder relativ zum Standpunkt: jede Welt ist für sich selbst die aktuale. Starre Kennzeichnung/logische Form: muss also zwei Welten involvieren: denn wir müssen sagen „das F ist G“ ist wahr in w2 gesehen von w1, gdw. das Ding das F ist in w1 G w2 ist. Doppelte Indizierung/multiple Indizierung/Terminologie/Cresswell: so wird das genannt in Kamp (1971)(2), es wird fast aber nicht ganz verwendet in Lewis (1970. 185f)(3). Explizit in Stalnaker (1978, 320)(4) als Formalisierung von Kripkes Ansatz über Namen.
